Fortnite OG Season 8

Get ready to set sail because Fortnite OG Season 8 drops on April 1, 2026, and it’s bringing all the pirate vibes you’ve been craving. Epic Games is reviving the old-school pirate era with some classic spots and fresh loot that’ll make longtime players grin from ear to ear.

The Pirate Era Returns with Familiar Places

The island’s looking nostalgic this season with three major points of interest making a grand comeback. First up, Lazy Lagoon is back, complete with its massive pirate ship and waterfall, perfect for some swashbuckling chaos. Then there’s Sunny Steps, a vibrant jungle location that adds some tropical flair to the mix. And of course, the iconic Volcano is returning as a central landmark, ready to shake things up like it used to.

This trio of locations sets the stage for that classic Fortnite feel, mixing old-school adventure with the chaos we love.

New Loot Pool Feels Like a Blast from the Past

If you miss the old weapons and gadgets, Season 8 is here to deliver. The loot pool brings back fan favorites like the Flint-Knock Pistol, Infantry Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, and the Boom Bow. You’ll also see the Impulse Grenade, Poison Dart Traps, and the sneaky Shadow Bomb returning to shake up battles.

Plus, Pirate Cannons and Treasure Maps are back to spice up your treasure hunts and fights. The rolling one-person vehicle The Baller, last seen in Chapter 5 Season 1, is confirmed to join the fight but won’t be available right at launch. Expect it in a mid-season update, adding more fun to your ride around the island.

Season 8’s OG Pass revives three classic skins: Blackheart, Hybrid, and Luxe – but with a fresh remix twist. This pass costs 800 V-Bucks and, heads up, doesn’t include V-Buck rewards like the main Battle Pass does.

Now, here’s a cool surprise for Marvel fans. On April 3, two days after the season kicks off, the Avengers: Endgame Limited Time Mode (LTM) goes live. In this mode, players split into Avengers and Chitauri teams. The Avengers need to eliminate the Chitauri 150 times to stop their respawns and then take down Thanos. Meanwhile, the Chitauri have to collect all six Infinity Stones to cut off Avengers’ respawns and wipe them out. Each life starts with a treasure map leading to a Mythic Avengers weapon, making the battles intense and strategic.

Before this drops, you can jump into the Avengers Blitz mode, which is a faster-paced version of Blitz Royale on a smaller island, where everyone starts with loot and Avengers weapons. It’s running until the next update.

Fortnite OG Season 8 promises a trip down memory lane with a pirate twist and a splash of Marvel superhero chaos. It kicks off with downtime starting at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET on April 1, with servers expected back up within a few hours. The season will run through early June, giving plenty of time to explore old favorites and new battles.
