NVIDIA GeForce NOW Launches in India on April 16

NVIDIA is finally bringing GeForce NOW to India, with the public beta going live on April 16, 2026. The rollout gives Indian gamers early access to its cloud gaming platform, with both free and paid tiers available from day one.

That means you can jump in early, test things out, and NVIDIA will be listening closely to your feedback. Whether you want to try it for free or go for a paid subscription, the choice is yours.

GeForce NOW India Supports PCs, Phones, Smart TVs, and VR Headsets

At launch, GeForce NOW supports a wide range of devices, making it accessible across PCs, smartphones, smart TVs, and handheld gaming systems.

You can stream your games on Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebooks, and even Windows ARM devices. Got an Android phone or an iPhone? You’re covered. Even your smart TV could turn into a gaming machine if it’s a Samsung, LG, Sony, or runs Amazon Fire TV or Android TV. And for the handheld crowd, devices like Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Razer Edge are all in the mix.

Oh, and if you’re into VR, NVIDIA isn’t leaving you hanging. Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro users can enjoy gaming on GeForce NOW in 2D mode. Seriously, this is cloud gaming on steroids, right in your living room or on the go.

Free and Paid Plans Confirmed, Pricing Yet to Be Announced in India

At launch, NVIDIA isn’t spilling the beans on how much the paid tiers will cost in India. We do know there will be several options: Free, Performance, Ultimate, and Day Passes, similar to what we’ve seen in the US. The company needs to keep prices competitive, especially since Xbox’s cloud gaming service has been available in India since November 2025.

Joining the beta isn’t just a click away yet. Gamers have to sign up on the GeForce NOW India website and join the waitlist. NVIDIA will send invites in waves, so the early birds who signed up for email notifications get the first chance to jump in. Once invited, you typically have a week to claim your spot.

RTX 5080 Servers, DLSS 4, and Mumbai Data Centers Promise Low-Latency Gaming

The Ultimate tier delivers the highest performance, powered by NVIDIA’s Blackwell-based RTX 5080 SuperPOD infrastructure. NVIDIA is rolling out servers powered by their Blackwell RTX tech, specifically RTX 5080 SuperPODS. This means you can expect full ray tracing for stunning graphics, DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation for silky smooth frame rates, and support for crazy high refresh rates – up to 360Hz at 1080p or 240Hz at 1440p. All this while streaming over the internet.

And don’t worry about lag. NVIDIA’s servers for India are set up right in Mumbai and managed by NVIDIA itself. That should mean less delay, better ping, and less packet loss. Basically, the network setup is designed to give you the best possible experience without hiccups.

With a huge library of over 4500 games available, GeForce NOW in India is shaping up to be a solid option for gamers who want to ditch expensive hardware but still play the latest titles. So, whether you’re on your phone waiting for a bus or chilling with your smart TV, the cloud gaming revolution is about to get a whole lot closer.

Ready to stream your favorite games without the hassle of upgrades or downloads? Mark April 16 on your calendar, sign up, and get ready to play wherever you want.
